HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Grab a glass and share this toast with me
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally crossed over into 2013. I know I'm a couple of weeks late, but I had to stay over in 2012 to sort out some personal issues, and now I'm through with them, I can finally begin my 2013.
It will be very ordinary for me to begin this new year like any other, so I've taken time to sort out some pretty personal stuffs, and I've decided to share with everyone. I'll start off by giving a new year shout out to everyone who made my 2012 memorable. Hopefully, 2013 would be even more LEGENDARILY-AWESOME. In no particular order, or in order of my favorites (anyhow you want it.) Here are the people who made my year.
Tobisco: Yea, right, my best friend in the whole world. He shared my best and worst moments with me, challenged and encouraged me, prevented me from making a fool outta myself lots of time, and most importantly, has been a part of my search for "The One". He is easily one of the best and most important piece of my life for about three to five years now. When I do get married (Sometimes later this year "fingers crossed") He is going to be my bestman. I hope we do get to rock the year 2012 Bro style.
My Parents: I'll tell anyone who cares to listen, If every child gets the kinda support, love and upbringing my parents gave me, The world is surely gonna be a better place. I've never regretted having them in my life over the last twenty one years, and hopefully this year things will only get better. They are one of the main reason I'm closer to my goals now than I ever was. I pray 2013 gives us a lot more reason to celebrate.
My Aunty: Anyone who knows my aunty, Aunty Justina, would know how much of a wonderful person she is. She oozes of awesomeness. I think having her in my life gives me an edge over others. Seriously though, she helps make life choices easier, keeps me thinking straight, and comes to my rescue whenever necessary. I pray she gets all she desires this year, and hope I can give her more reasons to be happy.
My Siblings: Those guys rock, funny moment, tiring moments, best elder brother in the world, Theo, and really crazy younger ones, and a really lovely younger sister.
Ada Obi a.k.a Derby: She's my female best friend. Straight up and simple. She changed a lot of things about me, giving me a new perspective, and allowing me to see things better from the female perspective. I hope we do get closer this year, and she gets happier over the days. She's a really great friend, and I value her over most.
Fela & John X: Those are my two best friends in Senior and Junior Secondary School respectively. 2012 wasn't Our best year together, but I did get closer to John X, while Fela went off to the University. This two guys were pivotal in shaping me during the most fragile period of my life, primarily during my pre-teen and early teenage years. I hope we get to hang out more often this year, cos I do miss our stimulating and crazy conversations.
Princess Bose: In April 2012, I got a news that closes a chapter of my life, and opened the door to a new future. Thanks to this news item, I now saw myself from a new perspective, and although it was kinda disappointing (as in selfishly speaking) It still remained the best news of the year 2012 to me. Yea, my classmate from senior secondary school, and one of my long time crushes had given birth to a beautiful baby girl. Now before any of my class mates from high school begin the whole "wow, crush" talk, seriously, which of you guys never had a crush on Bose. If you didn't you gotta get yourself checked out. In all sincerity, I'm still jealous and angry with her baby daddy. Seriously, the dude just stole Bose right from under our noses, or should I say right outta my face. But then, that was a great reason to smile in 2012, and baby Joanne is looking beautiful and doing well. Just one warning for Daniel. Bro watch your back, if you slack at all, this dude is gonna be taking your place.
J.C a.k.a Mummy Toba: Whoever coined that saying that beauty and brains don't go together for female folks probably never met Jacinta. She puts that saying to shame with her royal-like beauty. We did a lot of talking over the years, and each time we talk, I respected her more. And Yes, I do have a crush on her. She's one of the peeps that made my year, because every minute I spent with her, was totally worth it.
Bukky: I wonder what the last five years of my life would be like if I should take her out of it. Last year, she was easily the girl I spent the most time with. It's funny how anyone would be willing to spent time with me. Seriously, I've you met me. I can really be tiring and boring at time, not to add that I can be obstinate and frustrating at time. But she's one of the reason I didn't end up constantly tweeting or updating my Facebook status as "Bored". Now she's off to school, I think it's high time to get that girlfriend.
Funmilayo: You know how there are some people you are permitted to get very close to, but you should never try being anything more than friends with? Yea, I've got mine to, and her name is Funmilayo. She's one of those girl that are impossible to hate. Only problem is she is an "for your eyes only" person to me. Thanks to some circumstances beyond my control, I'm supposed to, and will remain off limits, but best of friends with her.
Joy Ikegudu: Any of my classmate in secondary school will remember the one girl Joshua never saw eye to eye with on any issue. We just were never meant to be friends. It doesn't matter what was at stake, be it something as simple as who did or didn't speak, or something as complicated as Politics or School Subject, we just must be on opposing sides. Nothing could make us agree. I can't remember the genesis of our conflict, but now that I look back, I just might have an idea. But the year 2012 was the year of miracles. Y'all know how people are saying Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra shaking hands was a miracle, Ours must be an Epic Miracle, just as we mysteriously became enemies (or should I say rivals) we just became best of friends. We've spent time together, on the phone, and unbelievable as this might sound, I sometimes miss her.
Blessing: If I'm asked to pick a female friend of mine that is on the threshold of becoming the next superstar, my answer is bound to be Blessing. Man, this girl can sing. Although I've known her for over five years now, I got to know her better in 2012, and I can actually say she's a really wonderful girl. From what I heard, she dances just as well as she sings, although I've never seen her dance. I'll try to spend more time with her, and attend some events she'll be performing at. I'll like to believe that y'all will be seeing a lot of her this year.
Cosmos, Jerry & Timothy: All of my life, I've known this guys, and thankfully, I've never had a reason to regret that. We've spent the last fifteen months pursuing a common goal which once completed will be our first step to changing (or should I say taking over) the Nigerian Entertainment Industry's landscape. Y'all should just stay tuned to your Radio, T.V, Internet, Magazines and Newspapers, because I can assure you, You don't wanna miss out on the GIG Entertainment whirlwind, which is about to sweep the nation (or we just might take over the world while we are at it). All I ask of you is to give us all the support you can.
Fola "4lah" Folayan a.k.a Boss Lady: If you are an ardent listener of Nigerian Info, then there is no way you could have miss out on knowing the "Boss Lady". The year 2012 saw me stumbling on a revolution on the internet. #DearArtiste. I don't know how many of y'all might have heard of this, but Fola has in her little way been giving advice to artiste who are still trying to get that "big break" in the music industry. It started as just twits from her twitter handle, but has grown to being a twitter handle, a website, a family, a movement, a revolution, and a source of hope and inspiration to lots of people. I have a feeling that 2013 will see lots of artistes take this avenue as a stepping stone to becoming big time superstars. I've learned a lot from her, and know a lot of young people out there have done the same. I pray God continues to strengthen and empower her and her team at Dear Artiste.
Andre Blaze, Vector and Eva Alordiah: One of my reasons for looking forward to 2013 was my hope that I'll finally get to work with three of my favorite peeps in the entertainment industry. Two of my favorite music albums from 2012 were GIGO from Eva Alordiah, and BARracks from Vector. As much as it as become very difficult to listen to complete albums of Nigerian artists without being tempted to skip tracks, Eva and Vector just ensured I kept listening to their songs nonstop, giving me a swell time, and making the times spent alone bearable. Andre Blaze on the other hand finally came back to terrestrial T.V with the show Nigeria's Got Talent. Seriously, it was fun to see Andre Blaze back on my T.V screen, since I don't have a D.S.T.V to watch Nigezie. And he didn't disappoint, as he was actually my main attraction to the show (although I never tire of watching Kate Henshaw). I hope to see a Vector and Eva Alordiah collaboration, maybe even a joint album, just as much as I still dream of finally hearing Andre Blaze rap. (There have been talks of a mix tape some times ago). And I pray to work with this talented trio someday soon. Just as I wish them a fruitful 2012.
To all my special peeps, like Chinelo, Chinasa, Chinyere, Adetoun, Ibrahim, Chukwudi, Chidebere, Anslem, Uduak, Vero, Chuks, and all the other guys I failed to write your names here. Y'all are important to me too.
Then there are the peeps I work with, watch football with, and meet everyday. I've learned valuable lessons from each one of you, shared great moments with you, and look forward to a great year with y'all.
To everyone I mentioned or referred to in this post, I wish every single one of you a fruitful, creative, prosperous New Year.

Special Announcement

Diary, Lifestyle, Love, Lovers, Memoir, Principle, Relationship, Reminiscing, Thoughts, Special Announcement, Plans, Planning, Future,
I think this looks good???
Wow! It's been over a month since I've made any post on either of my Blogs. (For those of you that don't know, I do own a second blog. TipsyJoswil.Blogspot.com, There I put up wonderful stats, tips, as well as information I find important.)
I can't exactly explain why I had to take the break, but I think I was getting too lazy to type, although I had a lot to write about. So instead, I just kept my thoughts to myself. But after a couple of weeks, I decided to take more time and think things through, before deciding on what exactly I want to do next. In this short period of time, I've done a lot of soul-searching, as well as self-rediscovery. I've also taken a lot of decisions on my next line of action, both professionally, personally, relationship-wise, and concerning this blog. I'm gonna share this decisions with you guys as I deem the time mature enough.
The first decision is about my blogs. I've decided to start blogging daily without missing any day (God helping me). My post is also restructured, With a daily dose of Bible Verse, Quote, Picture, and finally, a personal entry for the day. Although I'll be retiring the "Song For The Day posts," But every Friday, there is gonna be a "Song for the week".
A special warning to everyone though, My personal posts are going to get "Very Personal" and also "Explicit". I started blogging to vent out what I had on my mind, but due to my need to keep things good looking because of "Some People" I didn't want to find out "Somethings", I never wrote about "Somethings". But from here on, things are going to get "Personal", and if you don't like what you see, leave the page. But if you do have any questions, leave it as a comment, cos I tired of answering questions concerning what I put up on my blog with my mouth. I wouldn't even discuss it with anyone, but if you ask your questions here, or leave a comment, I'll take out time to reply you appropriately here.
(Some of you might already be getting tired of this "boring, long" post, don't worry, I'm almost through).
Another decision I took is that next year, I'll be starting my university programs. A lot of people have been questioning me, wanting to know when I'll "go off to school" and why I ain't in school yet. The answer is simple: I'm not in school because I'm yet to decide on what to study in school, secondly I've been trying to fix some personal stuffs, and thirdly I want to be a "Millionaire" before going off to the university. (Hopefully, I will be one before this time next year. I'm actually working towards it, and for once my visions are coming true right before my eyes.) I'll continue to update you guys on my walk to the millions, as well as my journey to getting into school.
The third decision will interest my readers who know me on a personal level, although I'll repeat, If you ask me about what I write here whenever we meet, "I WILL GIVE YOU NO REPLY."
"Next Year I will love to Marry, But Before then I Want to Thoroughly Party"
As most of my personal friends know, I'm more of an introvert, and never go to parties, hardly going for events. but from here on, I intend to start going for events, outings, and parties. although I'll prefer Intellectual/Art related events. So feel free to extend invitations to me. But here's a note of warning, I'm not going clubbing. Unless the event is taking place in a club, but for me to leave my home, with the intention of going off to a club and dancing, or hooking up with people, "That ain't happening".
I'll be telling you of where I'll be visiting, as well as telling you of my outings and posting pictures from such events. Do feel free to extend your invitations to me, and I'll surely be there.
For those of you who already know, or are wanting to confirm if this is true, or hearing about this for the first time, here it is. "I Intend to Get Marry Next Year" preferably in the month of August.
As my avid readers already know, I do have a lot of "Female friends" as well as "Crushes", but I've never had a "Girlfriend".
Although I have no Idea who the "Lucky Lady" is going to be, or how it is gonna happen, I'm actually looking forward to this.
I intend to make this happen by "God's Grace" and I've been "praying" and "working" towards it.
I know this is gonna be a very exciting and adventurous journey, and that the next twelve months of my life is going to be very interesting. But I can assure you of one thing, you guys are gonna be my companions on this journey, as I'll confide in you on what happens, and also seek your advice whenever I need it.
There are still a number of announcements I have to make, but I'll only tell you when I think the time is appropriate.
On a final note, everyone that read this and know me on a personal level, I repeat "I'm not gonna be facing any questioning, and will only answer your questions if you drop them on this blog."
Thank you for taking time to read this, God bless you all, I love you all, and welcome to my crazy world.
See y'all tomorrow.

Why I Do Not Have A Girlfriend.

Am I the guy in the middle? I Wish.
Why don't I have a girlfriend? the question should be "why should I have a girlfriend". I've been in countless conversations with friends, especially one that I'm reuniting with after a long time. We'll ask each other of what we've been doing, how life is treating them, and how they are holding up. Inevitably, I'll ask if they are in any relationship, and the reply mostly will be a resounding yes, followed by a long story of how they meet this wonderful girl (or boy) who is everything they dreamed of, and how She (or He) is all they can think about all day. Those who are not currently in a relationship go on to tell me about this heartless girl (or boy) they dated, and how he/she messed up big time, which lead to the end of their relationship.
After all the narration, they'll ask for my own "relationship story". and I'll tell them "I'm not in a relationship". They'll say "ok then, what about your Ex-es". I'll reply, "I've actually never been in one before". This is followed by a ridiculous look of disbelief, and most of them assume I'm lying. I then go on to explain that thanks to a number of factors, I've not been in a relationship.
First and Foremost, thanks to my upbringing, I developed some principles by which I've actually lived my entire life. Originally, I never wanted to be in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, I just wanted to cut to the chase and get someone willing to marry, and go ahead to marry her. This was in turn aided by my "phobia" for the female folk. I use to be scared of girls, thanks to some earlier experience,as well as the fact that girls always posed as the only obstacle between me and the top position in most of my activity as a younger child, making me see them as a threat, which I must always fight.
As I grew older, I realized I'll probably need to get closer to girls to be able to achieve somethings. I got closer to a few very intelligent girls around me, I learned a lot from them, and subconsciously, they raised my expectation from any girl I'll get to date. This actually reduced the chances of any girl I meet. Because the first time I meet any girl, I begin to measure her up with all of my female friend, not one of them, but all of them. No girl has been able to combine all the positive attributes of my female friends. (I act hope to meet a girl who will make me forget about all my standards or expectation.)
Another issue I have to deal with is the fact that I began to have crushes on many of my female friends, (I've actually had a crush on all of my female friends at different time.) I realized that if I asked every girl I crushed on, I would end up dating too many people. The funny part was that the crush was on and off, I would get over it, and later, I would crush even heavier on them. It would also be very awkward if I have dated all of my female friends and then went on to brake up by them. Seriously, I'm better off crushing on all of my friends, than breaking up with all of them.
Finally, there were some girls I wanted to date, and some of them were also interested in dating me, but there was just one problem, They were in a relationship at the time, and I was not willing to break up someone else relationship, just to satisfy myself. So it was an issue of availability vs moral.
So here am I today without a girlfriend, but enjoying every moment of being single. And most importantly pleasing God. Since I do not have a girlfriend, I'm actually under less pressure to engage in acts of fornication, and I don't have to spend money on making someone else happy at my own expense.
But seriously though, I would very much love to meet that special someone very soon. (Today is not a bad day for that to happen.) Any girl interested in being that "Special someone" should feel free to contact me, we can start from "somewhere".
Until then I'm Single, I'm Free, and I don't have any Worries.

A Friend In Need Is A _____

Friendship, Black, White, Children, Kids, Beauty, Angelic, Innocence,
Attitude makes all the Difference in Giving and Receiving
A Friend in need can mean a lot of things to a different people. That's why we say "Different strokes for different folks." The popular saying is that "A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed."
But time and again, I've had reason's to disagree with this. I've been shown that just as He can be a "friend indeed," a friend in need can also be "a counselor, a confidant, a threat to You, or worse of all, A Pain in the Ass."
Back to the original saying, a friend in need can be a friend indeed diverse ways, He can be Your truest friend, standing by Your side, attending to your every need, just to ensure He gets what he needs, while at the same time, He can begin to bring up everything he ever did for you. Even the inconsequential ones. The favors you never thought in Your wildest dreams will be mentioned ever again, some even go as far as bringing back to your memory embarrassing moments you shared together.
The most annoying friends are split into two categories, there are some who will stick to you like a tick, almost walking in your legs, willing to do anything, even when you obviously do not need their help. It's worse if you are in public, as they seem to have lost all sense of decorum, and would gladly disgrace the both of You. They'll agree to whatever You say, take decisions for you, live for you (If Possible), and make Your life a living hell.
The second and I'll say most annoying ones are those who act as if You owe it as a duty to them to satisfy whatever need they have. They'll threaten You, coerce you, cut you off, and even blackmail you just to get what they need. Most of the time they don't deserve the favors, but they'll just choose to be a pain in the neck, giving you unpleasantly surprise visits, and would even report you to everyone you know in common, telling them of how you are being selfish, proud and arrogant.
I had an experience with someone recently, doing him a favor, and expecting him to meet me halfway across, finish up the stuff himself, but he was adamant that I should do all the work myself and send him the completed Job. This is in spite of the fact that doing it had already cost me unnecessary expenses. He was adamant, and when I insisted He come to collect his Job and finish it off Himself, he requested that I dispose of the whole project, as he will get what He needs elsewhere. I decided this was going to be the last time I'll ever do anything for him again. And I intend to keep my word.
Just as "A Friend in Need can be A Friend Indeed",  so also "A Friend in Need can be A Pain in the Neck". It all comes down to wisdom, maturity, experience and attitude.

When is it Right to be Selfish?

Who Said That?
This is a question which most people will easily answer with a big Never. but time and time again, I have been in a position where the appropriate thing to do would be to be selfish. Simple.
Some people who know me when I was younger will tell you that I was actually a selfish little boy, and I'll testify to that. I actually was very much selfish, and I knew it. But at one point, I decided to be more liberal and selfless. Since then (By God's grace) I've actually been more of a giver than I use to be.
But the only time when I will ever be selfish again is if the recipient of my selfishness is proving to be foolish, careless, and unnecessarily selfish. Some people take your liberal attitude as foolishness, weakness, and a sign of Immaturity. They'll keep everything they have away from you, while expecting you to hand everything you own over to them, even when they don't deserve to have it. And whenever you ask for their contribution to a joint venture, they'll make an excuse, and give you a justification for their selfishness. Under such circumstances, I'll advise you be selfish to such selfishness.
Another instance where I'll recommend selfishness is when someone uses your generosity as a front for laziness. Because of your hard-working nature, your sense of dutifulness, and your willingness to share, some people will chose not to work and practically live off your labor. They'll sit around all day, expecting you to bring in all you have, while they sit on their ass and wholeheartedly help you to feed off your labor. In such instances, I recommend you go into full selfishness mode.
Finally, and most people will call me a selfish guy for this. when everybody is being graciously generous over a trivial issue, Then I recommend you can get a little bit selfish. I'm talking about those awkward moments when there is only a little amount of groundnut, or other food item left in the plate, and everyone is like "You take it, I'm filled." and then everyone is politely, charismatically, courteously leave the last piece of food item in the plate. I'll gladly pick it up and eat it. Let's forget about "big boyism" or ego, or "whatever". Let's eat and get our belly filled. Pick the last stuff left, satisfy yourself, forget about what others will think or say. And leave there.
In summary, it is sometimes necessary to be selfish, and I'll advice you listen to all sides of a story before passing your judgement.

FACEBOOK JUNKIE
I was writing a piece for my second blog, The piece was about Facebook Addiction, and when I searched the internet for pictures to accompany the write-up, The results I got were really mind blowing, I was astonished and shocked by what I saw. Some were Heart breaking, while others were simply hilarious and crazily funny. But they were all beautiful.
I've decided to share some of them with you, more will be coming soon.
I actually hope You ain't like that dude in the picture.

An Empty Head, And An Empty Mind.

Blank Mind
Over the last couple of weeks, I've been feeling awkwardly lazy. My normal Self (or as I hope I am) is a hard working, creative minded person. But recently, the creative aspect has been functioning, but my body as been reluctant to complete the creative process.
For over Five years now, I've always had about 20 to 50 different ideas at different stages on my mind. From conceptual, to processing, to outputting (writing, or recording). It has always been difficult for me to lay down whatever is on my mind, as ideas were just boundless, ever-developing, and getting better everyday.
I had always managed to discipline myself to bring out whatever I might be working on, because if I didn't bring out what I was working on mentally, I would find it difficult to work on other stuffs.
But recently, things have just been crazy, I still conceptualize and nurture stuffs in my mind, but outputting these stuffs have virtually been impossible. And this is a very big problem for me, as my mind is constantly in a state of disorganization. If my mind was actually visible, it will look like a work-table where everything is messed up, and nothing is sort out. Or a one of those highly networked fiber-optic layer of multi-crossed cables, which are just spun into one another, and cannot be separated from each other.
Simply put my mind is a mess, because my body is lazy. or should I say "The spirit is Willing, but the body is weak". I actually wish there was a technology that I could just hook myself to, and it would just bring up everything in my mind, in a orderly manner that will be easily understandable.
I hope I'll get some of this stuff sorted out, discipline myself to work harder, and free up my mind, else my life could get real worse. (It actually affects my mood).
Or maybe if I get a

Am I Addicted To Love?

That Should be Me and My Miss in the Picture.

Suddenly, everywhere I turn, I'm confronted with something that reminds me of Love (Not sex, please, there is a difference. We'll talk on that later.)
My old crushes are showing up everywhere I turn, Female friends I have are suddenly seeming more hotter, (or cooler, depending on which generation you belong to.) And I'm meeting new female friends who are not helping my plight at all.
I literally use to close my eyes whenever I see a really cute couple, but in recent times, that has been impossible. As much as I'll like to put an excuse to this, there is a fact that is impossible to ignore. I am getting older, (I actually turned 20 years old this year) and so are my friends. Thanks to my more developed mental capacity, physical attribute assessment and appreciation capacity, and most importantly, but also most dangerous of all is some hormone advancement. (I don't know the name for this hormones, because I'm not much of a science guy.)
I've come to some conclusion, hoping this will help in alleviating my plight.
Firstly, I'll probably get a very soon. But there is a big challenge here. Thanks to the many beautiful, intelligent , mature, selfless, and motherly-hearted female friends I have, who I happen to be very close to, It is almost impossible for me to find a girl who can perfectly, or preferably, finely combine most of the positive attributes of my female friends. It is going to be very difficult, if not impossible for any girl to meet this high standard of perfection, which this girls have built in my mind. But then maybe I will meet a girl, who will make me just forget about all these standards and conditions altogether.
Secondly, I might have to stop being friends with all my female friends, Maybe this will help me ignore more of my emotional need for companionship. But this might boomerang, as it might leave a bigger vacuum, making me an emotional wreck in the process, thereby hastening me to take a wrong decision of getting a girlfriend. In which case, I might end up getting the wrong girl.
Thirdly, I will like to get married next year. I have told this to a couple of friends, and after listening to my argument, some have bought the idea, while others have out-rightly advised me against it. Which girl in her right mind will happen to marry a 21 year old guy, (I'll be 21 years old next year), who doesn't have a fortune to his name, (But he does have big ambitions), and is not even a university graduate yet. By my estimate, I will probably have to marry someone about three to five years older than I am, As most girls my age-mate still want to live their live, have fun, and be independent. What they want in a relationship is different from what I want. But if I'm lucky, I might just find a special "someone" who wants to begin to live her life with her "Soul-mate" early enough, to have th advantage of being "Pure, Innocent, or simply all the advantages of being a couple."
Actually, I'll prefer if I find a girl who fits my "Dream-Girl Description", I date her, and she gets along well with my friends (male and female) as well as my family. Then Next year, probably August, we get married, and "Live Happily Ever After".

I'm In A Love Triangle

I hope the three of Us don't end up Like This.

Before I begin writing this Post, I'll like to say something: I actually hope two people never get to read this piece. Firstly, My Best Friend; Secondly, My Crush, who My Best-Friend happens to be interested in. On a second thought, I also hope My Wife and maybe My Children never get to read this too. because it might cause a lot of controversies in the future, especially if I can't write special piece for my wife. And Maybe My aunty, siblings, pastor and some of my co-workers never get to read this. Else this is surely gonna change their view of me.
Back to business. Over the years, I've had interest in a couple of girls, I just wanted to be more than friends with them, but with time, most of the feelings get washed away, while some of them persist, and manage to stay subdued over time.
But then, My best-friend happens to be a "ladies favorite". He meets a girl for the first time, and she falls head over heels for him. While I'm a sharp contrast to that, I'm more likely to be disliked by a lady whose just meeting me, (actually, most of the female friends I have, I meet under circumstances where we just had to get along with one another.)
One thing I'm happy about is that My friend (Let's call him "T" for the purpose of this discussion, except you read my previous piece on Him) doesn't "Over Use" this to his advantage. He respects these girls, treats them right, and tries to be best of friends with as many of them as possible.
Just like every other guy out there, T also has feelings for a number of this girls, Two of them actually, until recently when He meet a third one, who He has been crazy about (Which is very uncharacteristic of Him.)
I'll tell you more about the other girls, and His own dilemma in dealing with them some other times, but today, I'm gonna talk about only one of them. (Let's call her "F" just for the purpose of this discussion, except if you know the three of us personally, in which case I'll most probably be in big trouble).
I'll start right from the genesis of this whole palaver (i actually didn't know palaver is a correct English word until I checked my dictionary, I thought it was pidgin).
I started senior secondary school about a month later than most of my peers, then I was posted to a wrong class for over half of the academic session. When eventually I was transferred to the right class, I noticed a couple of things about this class (I'll write about it sometimes in the future.) and It was actually impossible not to notice this young, confident and vibrant young boy. I was actually sat right behind him, and we became friends. I also noticed this girl who always had a beret on, (Which was kinda uncommon in our class back then). She was beautiful, and had this lovely smile which was infectious.
The boy was "T" while the girl was"F". Before the end of our first year of school, there were lots of hook-ups in our class, as we had begun to notice the characters of each other, and get to know each other better.
"T" and "F" were mutually attracted to one another, but didn't exactly go into an official relationship, although they were as good as being a couple. They were even closer and more cute than most known couple in the class back then. But then, instead of openly showing affection for one another, they'll engage in public argument, and consistently take opposing sides on almost every discussion, but the chemistry between them was very visible to everyone.
After we finished secondary school, I, "T" and "F" got closer than before, and they still didn't have any official relationship, although they both admitted to having feelings for one another.
As I and "F" got closer, I began to have feelings for her, as I began noticing more positive sides of her, and I'll admit, she got even more beautiful (I don't know how that's even possible, because she was already too beautiful before.)
I believed if I leave this feeling unattended to, it will die a natural death, but each time we talked, chat, or I saw her pictures, I loved her even more. If she was somebody else, I will probably have told her about my feelings for her, but she is suppose to be in a relationship with my Best friend "T".
I believe asking her out will amount to betraying the confidence and trust of My Best-Friend, although they never dated, and I don't see that happening soon, but then even if I date get to date her, I have this premonition, that she'll always compare me to "T" which might prove disastrous for our relationship, and cause constant conflict between "T" and I, which is something I'll rather avoid.
If I was to advice someone else who was in this same predicament, it may be easy doing that, but right now, I've decided to keep shunning my feelings, and remain best of friends with both "T" and "F". And this has also made me have a change of heart in the way I give people relationship advice.

Good News in Bad Times

Thanks to Good News, I can Laugh at My Troubles
There are somethings in nature that just cannot be explained. But in the midst of all the unexplainable contrast we see in Nature, I've come to make a wonderful discovery.
When I make a decision to sacrifice something in the present, to take care of the future, it sometimes seems risky, foolish, and overtly dangerous. Last year October, I and a couple of friends decided to go into a joint venture, we were to pool together our resources to cover the expense of this little business. This is despite the fact that none of us had any experience setting up or running a business, but we all shared the passion.
Between October 2011 and today, we've raised and spent more than we thought any of us could possibly imagine. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have still not completed the setting up of this business, and this has put a big financial burden on Me, as I happen to be at the center of this activity.
Thanks to this set back, the last three months for me has been a big nightmare, as I'm faced with uncertainties everyday, as well as frustration, anger, disappointment and despair. But I never regret any action I take, so I just wake up everyday put down the cares of the previous day, and continue with my daily life.
But the month of April was filled with pleasant surprises for me, as I was privileged to have more reasons to smile, On the first day of the month, A very close friend of mine, (more like my sister than a friend) had a beautiful baby girl. This filled me with Joy and Gladness, as this proved to be a very good tiding, in the midst of a trying time. Then in the middle of the month, another friend of mine had a wonderful baby boy, making me happier, and giving me more reason to continue with my struggle, and making me more of a happy man.
Every morning, I wake up to this gloomy world, and remember this beautiful children, and my face is lit with a great smile, as I realize that there is a silver lining at the end of every cloudy sky.
To everyone out there who is going through difficult times,  just take a few minutes to look around you, and I'm sure you'll find a reason to smile, it might seem like a very little or silly reason, but just enjoy that moment and smile, because "Tough times don't last, but Tough people do".
 God bless and strengthen You.

Is It Worth It?

Is It Worth It?
To me, this is one of the most important question anyone and everyone should ask himself before taking any action, or decision.
Most times, what we benefit from what we do is not worth the price we paid for it, and we only realize this after paying the price (But in Life, the price we pay for our actions are non refundable).
From the moment we are born, we are made to realize that life is a race, and only the tough survive, and in the process of building up our toughness, dexterity, experience and ultimately success, we build and destroy relationship with different people, making contacts as well as losing some, but each relationship is unique in it's own way.
There is family, friends, business partnership, playmates, school and classmates, co-workers, spouses, and many other relationship. Although most people will not stay permanently in our life, The mistake most people make is not realizing who was meant to be permanent or temporal in their lives. We sell out those that were meant to be permanent, and keep those that are meant to be temporal, and only realize our mistake late in life, when it is almost impossible to correct this.
To me, Family is the most important relationship, from your parents and siblings, to your spouse, then your children, and friends. This people should never be sacrificed in your quest for success, because when you fall, they are meant to be there to catch you. But when you push them away, they'll have no room to be by your side and give you the necessary support.
Finally, if at any time you realize that you might have pushed away your family, or true friends, never feel ashamed to apologize to them (Preferably in person, and not on phone or email).
Never forget this, Your relationship with people will one day prove to be your most valuable possession.

My Birthday Speech.

Joshua "Joswil" Wilson
On a Monday, the 30th day of March, 1992, A phenomenal event took place, in a small town in Lagos state, Agege to be precise, a young boy was born. There was laughter, Joy, and Happiness. Seven days later, Family members, Friends and Other well wishers gathered for His christening. His father named Him Joshua, and his Journey through Life begun.
Thirteen years later, this young boy finished his Junior Secondary School, and had to make His first Big decision. He was to decide either to become a Science, Commercial or Art student in his Senior Secondary School. People already expected him to become the next big engineer out of the country, or probably a doctor, or maybe something big in the field of  Science and Technology. But contrary to popular opinion and expectations, He decided to take the less traveled road. He was going to be an Art student. A lot of people advised him against it, but he was insistent, claiming this was the field he had the least knowledge, but more interest.
Thus began the sojourn of Joshua "Joswil" Wilson into the world of Arts and Entertainment. Three years down the line, August 2008 precisely, He finished Secondary School, and decided that before going off into the University, He was going to try his hand at Multimedia production.
Long story short, Three years later, Joshua is a Video editor, Creative Writer, and M.D/C.E.O of GIG Entertainment, the company of His dream, which he co-founded with a couple of like minded friends.
He is not currently a big player in the entertainment industry, but in the next couple of years, He and His friends are surely going to be taking over the Nigerian as well as African Entertainment Industry.
 I am Joshua Wilson,
I say there's no stopping me as long as I've got God on my side.
And if You know You are not in My life to Help, then You had better get out of My life at the next opportunity You get.
So Ladies and Gentle Man, I say a let's make a Toast to Greatness,
 See You at the Top.

The Love(S) Of My Life

I've never been one for keeping much friends, and interestingly, until I finished secondary school, I hardly kept a friend for period of five years, circumstantial incidence made it impossible to remain friends with the same person for such a period of time.
But in the midst of it all, I've always had some special persons, with whom I've been a lot closer to, this people were more than friends to me, they were more than siblings, they were more like a part of me. This people defined my life and made me what I am today, I owe them a lot of appreciation (and maybe some blames). Among these people, I'm proud to say I've met some beautiful, Intelligent, Interesting and simply wonderful girls.
Due to my unusual close relationship with these lovely girls (and ladies) over the years, a lot of people believed I must have dated a number of them (I Wish I Did), but our relationship was mostly platonic, innocent, care-free, and fun.
I've decided to write about them for posterity sake, so everyone who reads this will know them, (hopefully one or all of them also get to read this). And for anyone who recognizes any of these girls, "Congrats". While for every other reader, I'll use their initials instead of their names.

M: M was the very first girl I'll say I had a special something for, We met in the primary school, probably before we turned seven years old, we were part of a three man gang, with the third person being my best friend at that time, a boy who goes by the name of J.
M was special to me, as she was easily the most beautiful and most intelligent girl I knew back then, All the good memories I have of that school has M in them, after I left the school, I didn't see her for over ten years, but recently, I met a mutual friend who has her contact details, I intend to renew contact with her in the next couple of weeks. Maybe this time, I'll take my chances and ask to take our "Friendship" beyond "Friendship".
(The most intriguing aspect of M and I is that we were a part of each other's childhood, were best of friends, and our innocence in the midst of such a wonderful relationship is what I love the most about our friendship)

E.E: E was this my class mate at the second primary school I attended, she was the quiet type, not very confident, but what she lacked in confidence, she made up for with intelligence. We were very close until we finished primary school, people even made jokes of her being my wife.
We parted ways after our primary school days, I saw her a couple of times after that, but didn't talk much, but I'll admit, she looked better each time I saw her (I don't know how that's possible).
I hope to meet her one day, even if we'll be nothing more than friends, I think it'll be worth the time and effort.

JC.O: After I spent the whole of my years in Junior Secondary School avoiding girls like a plague, I got to Senior Secondary School, and there I met the most perfect combination of beauty and brain I had ever seen in my life (at that time), She was one of the most popular girls in our class/session, she was not only beautiful and brilliant, but she was also friendly and open minded, she listened to everyone's opinion around her, was a natural leader, and very humble.
This attracted me to her, and although we did not talk much in our school days, after finishing secondary school, we got to know each other better, and became better friends. I learnt a lot from her (I still do). Happily enough, we are still friends (although I'll love it if we'll be more than that) and I hope we remain best of friends for ever.
She changed and upgraded my standard for measuring girls, raising my expectations, and helping me to relate better with girls.

D: Soon after I got into Senior Secondary School, I meet a girl online, she stays outside of Lagos state, but I still wanted to be friends, so we kept in contact. Over the years, we got to know each other better, shared a lot of memories as well as secrets. I learnt a lot of things from her, as she opened up herself to me, making me do the same. She taught me a new type of trust, making me trust in a way I had never done before.
She changed my perception of things, teaching me to see things from the female point of view, helping me understand the female-folk better, making me a better man in the process. We were actually closer than most couples I knew around. From what I understood from her and other couples, I think there's a probability we might have been closer, or shared more than she did with her boyfriend.
I always wonder, if she was staying in Lagos, or someplace closer, and not half way across the country, Maybe, just maybe we will have dated.
I'll always be grateful to her for curing a better percentage of my naivety, making me more trusting, more knowledgeable, more experienced, and a better man.
I Love her very much, and we'll always be best of friends (I hope my wife agrees) .

B: When I got to Senior Secondary School, We also moved to a new house, I had a neighbor who lived just a couple of houses away, someone I'll normally never talk to, but we had something in common, our love for books. I grew up reading everything that I came across, from novels to textbooks, to newspapers, to magazines, just anything written or printed. I was not selective (except it had to do with figures, basically I was kinda allergic to mathematics).
And here I was in a new location, with basically no social skills, and I saw this girl who I never saw without a novel. We hit it up from there, became best of friends (Which I still don't understand how, cause we're very different).
She was my new source of novels and textbooks cause we were in the same class (but different schools). We had a lot of memorable and intelligent conversations. And she made me see another view of the female folk. She helped me develop my social skills, making me more receptive of people, and brought out more of the interactive person in me.
We'll remain best of friends for a long time (maybe forever, or until I get a wife) as she's proven herself to be very knowledgeably, as well as being resourceful.

C: This is most unexpected inclusion on this list, I knew her all through my Secondary School days, She was always in the next class to mine, we saw each other basically everyday, but hardly ever spoke with each other, but there are some facts I'll admit to, Firstly, she's very beautiful, also, she's very intelligent, finally, she's a friendly person, but we were never friends.
Until recently, (Over two years after secondary school) I was repeatedly visiting my best friend, and her house was just a few streets away. I saw her almost every time I went to visit him, as she was friends with his elder sister.
We began to speak with each other, and became kinda friendly, now I know her a little better, and I can actually say she might be "The One".

All this people are part of my history, they are a part of me, and have contributed immensely in making me what I am today.
To everyone of you I want to say a big "THANK YOU", God bless you all, an "I Love You All".

Song Of The Day: Chidinma - Kedike

This song remains one of my favorite love song by any Nigerian artist ever, despite the fact that it's kinda a new song.
The flow, rhythm, lyrics, progression and everything about it is very simple.
But another thing I love about the song is it's strong touch to Africa. The song is just to African, and totally impossible not to love.
The video is just something else, it totally compliments the song. And the guy (Dammy Krane) plays his role well.
Listen to it and tell me what you think.

I Think I'm Love Sick.

The last couple of weeks has been the best and worst weeks of my life, but beneath it all, I have suddenly been having the most unusual feeling in my heart.
It's something I've never felt before, It's so intense I find it impossible to ignore the feeling. I actually spent all my life ignoring and denying any feeling that might feel like love. I practically kill the feeling before it even buds.
But in the last couple of weeks, I've been consistently been faced with this feeling again and again. But the only problem is I'm having the feeling for more than one person, it seems everyone I ever had special feelings for are suddenly showing up in my life, looking even more beautiful than they looked years ago, they sounded a lot more intelligent than they use too, and worse of it is they are not avoiding me, they all remain receptive and friendly towards me, and I'm continually feeling blessed to have them in my life.
Only problem is out of about seven to ten people I'm having feelings for, I can only date one of them, as I have no intention of double dating or cheating on anyone, and I also want to have the right person as my date, as I don't want my present decision to have negative impact on me or anyone i the future.
So I've decided to leave all of them and see which of them would get into a relationship with someone else, thereby reducing my options. But I have my fears.
What if the person left actually has no interest in me? What if they all get into relationships before I can get back to them? What if I keep meeting more people like them, and I'm constantly having multiple options?
I'll tell you all about each of these girls at a later time, but until then, I'll leave everything in God's hands.

Song Of The Day: Michael Bolton - When A Man Loves A Woman

I've been searching for a song to describe exactly how I feel, then I listened to this song for the first time today. The song was unbelievably real, and describes exactly how I feel.
To every lady who listens to this song, I want to let you in on a guys only secret, everything said in this song is actually true. If you see this signs signs in any guy, trust me, He's in love.

First Date Ideas That are not Dinner, Movie, Or Drinks

Here are alternative Ideas for a first date that are least likely to leave you out of topics to discuss, or put you in akward positions. They also work for any other date, be it a couple or a group.

This article is culled from TheFrisky.com

1. Fly a kite.

2. Walk your dogs at the park or, if you don’t have dogs, watch the dogs at the dog park and discuss which ones you want to take home.

3. Volunteer — plant flowers with the Parks Dept., donate blood, or paint a school.

4. Play Scrabble at a coffee shop.

5. Go to a used bookstore and buy each other one book you think the person should read.

6. Take a hip-hop dance class.

7. Get a psychic reading or have your tarot cards read. Discuss the accuracy — or lack thereof — as a starting point for getting to know each other.

8. Have breakfast before work.

9. See a free outdoor concert.

10. Go to a book reading.

11. Go bowling — winner buys the beer.

12. Go for a hike and bird watch.

13. Play miniature golf.

14. Go gallery hopping and talk about which paintings you’d buy if you were rich.

15. Play ping-pong.

16. Be a tourist in your own city and visit a local attraction that neither of you has ever been to.

17. Ride bikes.

18. Tackle a rock climbing wall.

19. Karaoke!

20. Visit the Planetarium or Natural History Museum.

21. Learn to cook something yummy at the local culinary school.

22. If you’re going to eat dinner, do it progressively, which each course at a different restaurant.

23. Play hooky from work and have a picnic in the park.

24. Play chess at one of those outdoor tables.

25. Go somewhere with interesting scenery and sketch — then ask strangers to vote on whose drawing is better. Winner buys the loser a drink.

My Thoughts: I don't buy all this ideas, but I agree with most of them, Being in the public with a person makes you see parts of the person you'll normally miss when you are alone, and you are less tempted to commit immorality.
Remember, Stay safe, and stay away from pre-marital sex, It does more harm than good. and it in no way solidify your relationship. Don't let anyone deceive you.
Sleeping with you will not make him love you, it will only make him suspicious of you.
We'll talk more on such matters later.
